APPROVAL TO SUBMIT THE DISTRICT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the submission of the District Comprehensive Plan to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (Attachment)
APPROVAL FOR A MEADVILLE AREA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT TO RECEIVE A 2018 DIPLOMA
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves for a Meadville Area Senior High School student to receive his/her 2018 Diploma upon meeting all requirements as established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, as recommended by John C. Higgins, Principal
EXTRACURRICULAR – Katrina M. Proctor, Chairperson
APPROVAL FOR THE MEADVILLE AREA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BOYS’ BASKETBALL TEAM TO COMPETE IN TOURNAMENTS
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the Meadville Area Senior High School Boys’ Basketball Team to compete in the following tournaments at no cost to the district:
- Bisco Tournament in Wellsburg, West Virginia on December 29-30, 2017 (Attachment)
- West Penn Athletics “Battle” Tournament in Erie, Pennsylvania on January 14, 2018 (Attachment)
APPROVAL FOR THE COCHRANTON JR.-SR. HIGH SCHOOL TRAVEL CLUB TO TRAVEL TO EUROPE
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the Cochranton Jr.-Sr. High School Travel Club to travel to Europe on June 11-22, 2018, at no cost to the District (Attachment)
APPROVAL FOR THE COCHRANTON JR.-SR. HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR HISTORY CLASSES TO TRAVEL TO WASHINGTON, DC
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the Cochranton Jr.-Sr. High School senior history classes to travel to Washington, DC, on March 16-17, 2018, at a cost to the District of $163.80 for two substitute teachers (Attachment)
APPROVAL OF SCHOOLS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PMEA DISTRICT BAND
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the following schools to compete in the PMEA District Band in Warren, Pennsylvania, on January 11-13, 2018:
- Cochranton Jr.-Sr. High School at a cost to the District of $1,306.40 (Attachment)
- Meadville Area Senior High School at a cost to the District of $1,756.40 (Attachment)
