ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 GENERAL FUND BUDGET
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the adoption of the 2020-2021 General Fund Budget in the amount of $67,404,939 as presented on PDE-2028. A copy of PDE-2028 will be made a part of the Minutes (Attachment)

APPROVAL OF THE MILLAGE LEVY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the following real estate tax levies for fiscal year 2020-2021:
Crawford County at 52.61 Mills (+ 0 Mill)
Mercer County at 93.16 Mills (+1.14 Mill)

APPROVAL OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ACT 1, THE HOMESTEAD AND FARMSTEAD EXCLUSION, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves the implementation of Act 1, the Homestead and Farmstead Exclusion, for fiscal year 2020-2021, in the amount of $1,453,168.65; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Crawford Central School District has calculated a homestead and farmstead exclusion for the purpose of reducing school district property taxes, such exclusion to be $4,363 for Crawford County and $2,465 for Mercer County; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Crawford Central School District will reduce school district property taxes using the homestead and farmstead exclusion by $229.54 for Crawford County and $229.64 for Mercer County.

APPROVAL FOR THE BUSINESS MANAGER TO MAKE GENERAL FUND BUDGET TRANSFERS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves for the Business Manager to make General Fund Budget transfers for the purpose of closing out various funds for the District for fiscal year 2019-2020

APPROVAL OF ACT 511 TAXES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves to enact a one (1%) percent Earned Income Tax, and a one (1%) percent Real Estate Transfer Tax for the fiscal year 2020-2021 in conformity with Act 511

APPROVAL OF THE ENACTMENT OF PER CAPITA TAX UNDER THE PUBLIC SCHOOL CODE OF 1949 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021
RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby approves to enact a $5.00 Per Capita Tax for the fiscal year 2020-2021 in conformity with Section 679 of the Public School Code of 1949, 24 P.S. 6-679

RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Crawford Central School District hereby accepts the Tax Collector Audit for 2018 (Attachment)

APPROVAL OF EXONERATION OF TAX COLLECTORS FOR TAX YEAR 2019
RESOLVED, that the school tax collectors of respective municipalities listed below having made a full and proper settlement in accordance with the law of the taxes levied by the Crawford Central School District for the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 to be collected by him/her by paying over all taxes collected, by returning all unpaid taxes upon real property to Crawford County Tax Claim Bureau or other appropriate authorities, and by having received various exoneration’s and credits, the Crawford Central School District does hereby exonerate said tax collectors for all unpaid taxes for the Tax Year 2019 and his or her action in returning appropriate taxes to the appropriate authorities be approved subject to audit. This exoneration is contingent upon final approvals of the Auditor, Solicitor, and Business Manager for the Crawford Central School District:

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE STATUS
Acknowledgement that under the terms of Section 1108 of the School Code, the Superintendent has notified the Secretary of the Board that Beth A. Knight and Kara R. Wenzel have received satisfactory ratings for their sixth semester of employment and has thereby gained the status of “professional employee” and will be tendered a professional employee contract beginning with the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year
